RICHMOND, Va. (WAVY) — Virginia State Police are reminding motorists to drive safely as Hurricane Isaias gets closer.

Forecasts are currently calling for the eastern and central regions of the Commonwealth to be significantly impacted by heavy rains and strong winds.


State Police say troopers and supervisors will be available and working through the night and Tuesday as the storm makes its way to the Commonwealth.
