First lady celebrates love at White House on Valentine’s Day

WASHINGTON (NEXSTAR) – First lady Dr. Jill Biden is celebrating Valentine’s Day with decorations displayed on the White House lawn.

The display features giant wooden envelopes, one that reads “To America with love,” and another that says, “Happy Valentine’s Day XOXO Jill.” The decorations were revealed Wednesday morning after being installed overnight.

The décor extends inside the White House with Valentine’s cards hanging from the ceiling and a red mailbox. Members of the public will be able to see the decorations during tours of the White House.

This marks the fourth time the first lady has decorated the lawn for Valentine’s Day. Last year, the display featured handprints of children from military families.
