Join WAVY-TV 10’s Stephanie Hudson at the Walk to End Alzheimer’s in Suffolk on Saturday, Sept. 14, 2024. The walk will be held at YMCA Camp Arrowhead. WAVY is proud to be a media sponsor of the event.
Learn how you can join the fight for a different future! There is no registration fee to walk but a donation is requested. Every participant is required to register and sign a standard waiver.
The walk is a rain or shine event, but will be canceled if there is severe weather.

Walkers Welcome at 8:45 a.m. | Ceremony at 9:30 a.m. | Walk at 10 a.m.
Each registered participant will receive a Promise Garden flower. Choose the color that best represents your connection to the disease.
- Blue represents someone living with Alzheimer’s or another dementia
Purple is for those who have lost a someone to the disease.
- Yellow represents someone who is currently supporting or caring for a person living with Alzheimer’s.
- Orange is for those who support the cause and the Association’s vision of a world without Alzheimer’s and all other dementia.
