The 2nd District U.S. House of Representatives race between Rep. Jen Kiggans and Missy Cotter Smasal is helping to attract many people to the polls.

Republican Rep. Jen Kiggans and Democratic challenger Missy Cotter Smasal made a final pitch for votes Tuesday on Election Day.

Some residents in Hampton Roads reported problems at the polls on Election Day.  Several viewers sent in tips about ballot machines not working at polling locations in Hampton, Newport News and Yorktown.

If hindsight is 20/20, local hospitals are seeing clearly on this Election Day and will have extra security and supplies on hand just in case there is any violence like there was after the last presidential election.
