CHESAPEAKE, Va. (WAVY) – A vehicle fire in the eastbound lanes of I-64 at the High Rise Bridge shut down traffic for hours traffic Wednesday morning.
The incident happened around 9:20 a.m. Images from the scene show the front cab of a tanker truck engulfed in flames.
All traffic lanes reopened around noon.
There is no word if any injuries were reported.

Shortly after lanes reopened in the area of the fire, the eastbound lanes were closed again because of another incident.
