RICHMOND, VA (WAVY) — What a season it was on the high school basketball scene here in the 757. Five teams made it to the State Championship game, three walked away with trophies.
On Saturday, Woodside Boys and Princess Anne Girls wrapped up incredibly dominant, near shutout seasons with titles at the Siegel Center in Richmond.
Woodside took down L.C. Bird in double-digit fashion with a 53-33 victory. They take home the Class 5 Title.
On the girls side, Princess Anne has now won a state title in 10 of its past 11 seasons after a barn-burner with James River Midlothian. Freshman, Micah Ojo had 31 points in her first championship game.
