Titans still alive in quest for Big Game

After winning four straight games the Titans are just one away from advancing to the NFL Playoffs.

The Titans host the Colts Sunday night in what is not a playoff game but is definitely a “play-in” game.  The winner will be in the playoffs at (10-6) and could also win the AFC South if the Texans (10-5) fall at home to the Jacksonville Jaguars who have brought back Blake Bortles as their starting quarterback.

The AFC North title is still up for grabs as well.  The Ravens win it if they beat the rival Cleveland Browns, but the Steelers (8-6-1) who are on the outside looking in can still win the division if they beat Cincinnati and the Ravens lose.

Back to the Titans… They have the rival Colts and they have their hands full because they have to do something they have never done before, that is beat quarterback Andrew Luck who is 10-0 against them all-time.

Andrew Luck vs. Titans

Record 10-0

Passing (204-323) 2,650 Yards, 18 TD’s, 8 INT’s

Game Average (20-32) 265 Yards

The numbers for Luck against the Titans are not staggering, but when the game has been on the line he has always found a way to win it.  Luck has led the Colts to an 8-1 record over their last 9 games and from 1-5 to 9-6 and into the AFC Playoffs with a victory. After missing all of last season he is having a sensational season with 4,300 yards and 36 touchdowns.
