WPRI/WNAC –  For the third straight year, the Patriots have punched their ticket to the Big Game. The Patriots defeated the Kansas City Chiefs in dramatic fashion. A 37-31 overtime win secured the Patriots ninth Super Bowl appearance in the Tom Brady/Bill Belichick era.

The Patriots will face the Los Angeles Rams, who the Patriots faced in Tom Brady’s first Super Bowl win in the 2001 season. For the second game in a row, it will be a matchup between “The Old” vs. “The New” as Tom Brady and Bill Belichick go up against the up-and-coming young duo of Rams head coach Sean McVay and Jared Goff.
