PARIS (WAVY) — 10 On Your Side’s Marielena Balouris is in Paris covering the 2024 Paris Olympics.
She recently visited the Hotel de Ville, which is city hall for Paris. The historic site was transformed into an outdoor venue to celebrate the Olympics with people from across the globe.
In the true spirit of the Olympics, the event was filled with competitive activities such as skateboarding, table tennis, wheelchair basketball and handball.
“I think the vibe is amazing. It is incredibly hot but people are so happy,” said one woman,
The event was free for everyone to enjoy.
