NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — Well, that’s certainly a way to put the boxing world and the lightweight division on notice.

Keyshawn “The Businessman” Davis took care of business on a special evening for boxing in the 757 as he knocked out Gustavo Lemos in emphatic fashion during the second round of Friday’s main event before a sellout crowd of 10,568 at Scope Arena.

All week, you heard all of the Davis brothers pay homage to Pernell ‘Sweet Pea’ Whitaker. During the first major boxing event at the arena in 30 years, he and his brothers Kelvin and Keon delivered.

“Since I’ve been a professional I can definitely say this has been a marquee night,” Keyshawn Davis said. “Not only did I put on an amazing performance, Keon Davis put on an amazing performance, Kelvin Davis put on an amazing performance, Troy Isley put on an amazing performance and I closed the show.”

It was a special night for all of DB3.
