NEWARK, NJ (WAVY) – Norfolk native Keyshawn Davis continued his climb up the boxing ranks when the 25-year-old won a unanimous decision over Miguel Madueno on Saturday night in Newark, New Jersey.

Davis won 99-91 on all three judges scorecards on way to his 11th professional victory.

The fourth round was particularly impressive of Davis. He connected on 34 of 61 punches in the round.

For the fight, Keyshawn landed 49 percent of his punches and 53 percent of his power punches.

Davis is ranked anywhere from 3rd to 5th by various organizations in the lightweight division.

As for the future, after the fight, Keyshawn said he wants to start fighting the big names and start fighting for major titles.

Davis has publicly said that he hopes to have a fight at Norfolk Scope one day.
