NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — Saturday’s matchup with James Madison playing Old Dominion at SB Ballard Stadium highlights a big day of college football in Hampton Roads.

It is just one of four matchups involving FBS or FCS schools in the region. They include:

  • James Madison vs. Old Dominion at S.B. Ballard Stadium — 4 p.m.
  • Delaware State vs. Norfolk State at Dick Price Stadium — noon
  • Richmond vs. Hampton at Armstrong Stadium — noon
  • Bryant vs. William & Mary at Zable Stadium — 1 p.m.

That’s not all the college football taking place in the region, as Christopher Newport hosts the College of New Jersey in the Captains’ season finale at 6 p.m. Friday at TowneBank Stadium. CNU, with a win and a Salisbury loss, can click a share of the New Jersey Athletic Conference championship.

The Apprentice School hosts Monroe College at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Apprentice Athletic Center in Newport News before playing in the Neptune Bowl at 2 p.m. Nov. 23 against Atlantis University.
