The Pirates Women’s hoops team took down Bowie State 65-55 behind an 18 point performance from Jasha Clinton. Clinton transferred in from Temple, but has 757 ties, growing up in Virginia Beach and playing her High School ball at Princess Anne. It was win #1 of Tamisha Augustin’s Head Coaching career.
The Pirates will head to Radford next. Tipoff for that one is Thursday, November 7 at 11 a.m.
On the Men’s side, the Pirates took down Mid-Atlantic Christian 110-53 for Ivan Thomas’ first win as Head Coach. HU scored 61 second-half points, while also shooting 50% from three in the second half as well.
Hampton will take on George Washington on the road next Friday, November 8 at 7 p.m.
