Summer is right around the corner, and while that means it’s almost time to hit the parks and beaches for fun, there are several new LEGO releases you won’t want to miss out on. LEGO is known for its high-quality block-building sets for adults and children alike.

New Lego releases to look out for this summer
LEGO has dropped several impressive building sets for summer 2024. There are LEGO Advent calendars to be released in late summer, including those associated with Disney, ”Harry Potter” and the LEGO City and Friends collections. Other neat LEGO sets in the lineup are part of the Technic, Animal Crossing, Super Mario, Sonic the Hedgehog and Speed Champions collections.

These LEGO sets use specialized pieces, such as motors and pneumatic elements, to create working mechanisms and mechanical structures. This summer, new LEGO Technic sets include a hypercar, a racecar, an excavator and NASA’s Lunar Roving Vehicle used during the Apollo missions.

Lego Friends
Based on the “LEGO Friends” TV show, this collection features characters from the series and scenes from Heartlake City. In terms of new LEGO Friends sets, there’s only one to look out for this summer: an Advent calendar. The Christmas countdown toy set includes five characters, two baby pet characters, a snow cat figure and plenty of fun accessories.

Lego Harry Potter
Between the iconic “Harry Potter” book series, video games and two film franchises, there are plenty of LEGO sets based on the wizarding world worth collecting. This summer, LEGO will release a new Harry Potter Advent calendar for the countdown to Christmas. It’s meant to accompany the LEGO 76435 Hogwarts Castle: The Great Hall building set. The Harry Potter 2024 advent calendar includes Hogwarts students and staff, festive items associated with the four houses, a Christmas tree, magical Christmas crackers, a ghost caroller and more.
