Pinterest’s 2025 trend report is … interesting
Wondering what trends will be big in 2025? Wonder no more, because Pinterest already knows, based on what searches have been spiking on the platform lately. And to help us all prepare to be stylish and on-trend in the new year, they’ve released a trend report giving us all a first look at everything that will be all the rage in 2025.
Pinterest is predicting a lot of bold expression and maximalism. On its trend report are things like Peak Travel (vacations to out-of-the-way mountain destinations), Seeing Double (coordinated outfits between besties), Moto Boho (fashion featuring chunky leather and big chains), Primary Play (home decor that’s awash in bold, primary colors and contrast) and Cherry Coded (think cherry makeup, cherry decor and cherry martinis).
But there are three trends that we’re already very into: Pickle Fix, a love of all things pickle flavored, from the savory to the less-expected; Castlecore, which is giving medieval a major moment, from home decor to content like books, TV and movies; and Sea Witchery, which features sultry siren makeup, wet wavy hair and similar mermaid aesthetics.
