Zillow trend report 2025: Buyers want nostalgia and libraries
Each year, home sales website Zillow releases a trend report that highlights the features and design elements people most want in their spaces based on keywords used in millions of listings. The 2025 report just dropped, and the themes aren’t really surprising.
Zillow found that there are several trends buyers are after: warm, cozy spaces; sustainable technology and finishes; and climate-resilient features like flood barriers and drought-resistant lawns. But there are two from the report that we’re especially big fans of — and that we’ve seen popping up in home decor and style trends. According to Zillow’s 2025 trend report, nostalgia and home libraries are both huge right now.
