LG 36-inch Smart InstaView French Door Refrigerator
LG announced a slew of second-generation smart appliances to its “Signature” line, including a microwave oven with a 27-inch touchscreen display, a camera-equipped double range, and a sleek washer, dryer, and dishwasher. We think this refrigerator is the appliance that needs to be on your radar. You can knock twice on the glass panel to illuminate its interior and see what’s inside without opening the fridge. Even though you can’t tell at first glance, it’s equipped with a 28-inch transparent OLED touchscreen display that can display ingredients inspired by what’s in your fridge and help you keep track of inventory and expiration dates.
Genius AI Glasses

Resembling ordinary eyeglasses, Halliday’s frames discreetly incorporate an invisible display into the frame rather than the lens. This innovative approach delivers a 3.5-inch field of view, allowing users to effortlessly view information such as graphics, icons, and text. Leveraging advanced AI capabilities, these smart glasses enable real-time language translation, provide turn-by-turn directions, and offer the convenience of reading messages on the go without drawing attention. They’re expected to ship later this March, but you can preorder now to score a $120 discount and an included pair of prescription lenses.

Genius GPS Smartwatch
Jacob Palmer/BestReviews
If you have hesitation dropping around $1k on one of Garmin’s flagship fēnix 8 watches, the new Instinct 3 range will seem quite enticing given its $299 starting price. Although it lacks the Elevate V5 optical HR sensor and a touchscreen, the watch should do a fine job at helping you log your steps and heart rate and keep tabs on your blood oxygen saturation. You can even use it for contactless payments and to get notifications from your phone. The rugged GPS smartwatch is already available for purchase.
Genius Health Tech
Eli Health
This at-home testing system uses your saliva and smartphone camera to measure your hormone levels to provide personalized trends and recommendations related to athletic performance, sleep, stress and fertility. The company said the device has been in the works for more than 5 years by a multidisciplinary team of scientists, engineers, AI developers, doctors, and innovators.
Traditionally, hormone levels are measured through costly blood- or urine-panels that need to be sent to a lab. Eli Health’s system has a subscription-based approach and plans start at $8/test with a 12-month commitment.

Genius Smart Home Tech

Custom smart blinds can run as much as $5,000, but Lutron’s recently announced Caséta Smart Shades start at a much easier-to-swallow $399 price point. They’re tested to perform for a decade of use, are backed by an industry-leading warranty, and support all the features you’d want, including scheduling, remote control and voice commands. They come in both roller or honeycomb style in white, grey, or blackout fabric. They’re expected to ship in February.

Lenovo says the tablet will ship this month and that it pairs nicely with Lenovo’s new 2-in-1 keyboard and Tab Pen Pro. The latter accessories are sold separately.
Genius Smart TV
Samsung
In 2024, manufacturers like TCL and Hisense entered the market with their own competitors to the Samsung Frame TV, offering stylish alternatives that give Samsung a run for its money. The tech giant clapped back with the launch of its gorgeous The Frame Pro TV, which packs a vivid NeoQLED display to provide a brighter and more detailed picture with deeper blacks.
The TV, which comes in 65-, 75-, and 85-inch sizes, features a new and improved Wireless One Connect Box to wirelessly transmit content and audio from your streaming devices and video game consoles. Unfortunately, we’re still waiting for Samsung to provide pricing and a release date.
Genius Portable Soda Maker
Jacob Palmer/BestReviews
If you’re craving carbonation but want to skip store-bought sodas or seltzers, the Roam SodaTop — launching in Q1 2025 for $49.99 — allows you to create your own flavored sparkling water on the go using natural flavor drops and CO2 cartridges. You can use your existing Hydro Flask or a similarly sized bottle or opt to purchase a bottle directly from the manufacturer.
Genius Projector
XGIMI
For those seeking a ginormous screen without wanting the fuss of mounting an expensive television or traditional-style projector, this ultra-short throw projector from XGIMI is worth a look. Delivering an impressive 2,300 ISO lumens of brightness (500 lumens brighter than its predecessor) it combines lasers and LEDs to produce richer colors and sharper contrast even in bright rooms. It’s capable of projecting images between 90 and 150 inches in size, comes equipped with Harman Kardon speakers, and runs Android TV for downloading most streaming apps.
XGMI also showcased a new 100-inch motorized floor-rising screen that would pair perfectly with the projector. For now, it’s only a concept, but you can purchase the AURA 2 projector today for $2,699.
Genius Smartphone Accessory
HMD
This potentially life-saving accessory seamlessly connects your Android or iOS phone to satellites across the entire U.S. so you can send and receive text messages in remote locations when you don’t have a signal. It fits easily in your pocket, boasts a 3-day battery life, and would surely come in handy to contact emergency services when you need them most. It can even share the user’s live location with up to five people in intervals from every 4 hours to every 3 minutes.
Genius AR Glasses
XREAL
The XREAL One Pro looks like a sleek pair of sunglasses but offers so much more and truly transforms the way you watch movies, play video games, and get work done. They essentially create a massive virtual screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and industry-leading 57-degree FOV, all in a thin 11-millimeter profile. The glasses, which are slated to ship this March, come equipped with Bose-tuned speakers, as well.
Genius Gaming Chair
Razer
Razer’s Project Arielle is a concept gaming chair designed to keep you comfortable in any climate. Thanks to three adjustable fan speeds and a built-in PTC heating system (the same your vehicle likely uses), it can keep you cool or warm you up. By default it glows green but changes color depending on if it’s cooling or heating up. While Project Arielle is only a concept, Razer has a history of bringing innovative prototypes — like the Razer Freyja haptic cushion — from CES to life, making this an exciting glimpse into the future of climate-controlled gaming chairs.

It provides a long 10-hour runtime to clean pools up to 3,230 square feet and includes a “HomeComingDock,” which makes it easier to surface the vacuum and provides metrics such as pH, temperature, and pool maintenance recommendations. The pool cleaner is expected to launch next month for $2,299.
Genius Nasal Strip
Intake
Intake Breathing Nasal Strip Starter Kit
At the recent CES Showstoppers press event, we couldn’t help but notice something: a surprising number of attendees sporting a small black strip across their noses. Turns out, it was Intake, a magnetic nasal dilator that aims to improve breathing by gently widening the nasal passages.
To use, you apply two sticky magnets to your nose, one on each side of your nostrils. Then, you snap on a small, curved black band that connects to the magnets. The band is reusable, and only the magnetic strips need replacing after each use. Feedback from Showstoppers attendees was largely positive, but the BestReviews Testing Lab plans to conduct long-term testing to see if Intake truly benefits those struggling with nasal congestion.
