Will Taylor Swift come to the Carolina Panthers-Kansas City Chiefs game?

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WGHP) — The Carolina Panthers will match up against the defending champion Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday and Tarheel State Swifties want to know whether or not Taylor Swift will be in attendance.

Swift has of course become a fixture at Chiefs games in the last year, often attending to support her boyfriend Travis Kelce.

Many Swifties in the Carolinas want to know whether or not the singer will come to the game. She famously has never performed at Bank of America Stadium.

While FOX8 has reached out to Swift’s team to see if the singer will be in attendance for Sunday’s game, unfortunately, the answer to whether or not Swift will be in attendance is likely no.

Unlike last year when she frequently traveled with the team to watch them on the road, Swift has only been in attendance for Kansas City’s home games this season.

Swift did not travel to Buffalo last Sunday for the Chief’s biggest game of the year against the Buffalo Bills and it’s fairly reasonable to assume that the Panthers probably won’t be the team to change that.

However, for the superstitiously-inclined Panthers fan, that could be good news for Carolina’s prospects of winning the game.

The Chiefs have done a lot of winning since Swift became the team’s most famous fan, going 14-3 in the 17 games she has attended.

Digging even further into that fact, ever since Kansas City lost to the Las Vegas Raiders on Christmas Day 2023 with Swift in attendance, they have not lost in her presence since.

The Chiefs are currently riding a nine-game winning streak in games that Swift is present for going back to the Christmas 2023 game. Of course, Kansas City’s run to the Super Bowl last year is included in that.

Funnily enough, the Chiefs lost their first game of the season last week to Buffalo without Swift in the crowd.

According to DraftKings Sportsbook, the Chiefs are currently favored to beat the Panthers by 10.5 points.

So, if Carolina pulls the longshot upset, Panthers fans know who to thank.
