VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) – The Hampton Roads Chamber is set to host a debate between the two nominees for Virginia’s 2nd Congressional District — incumbent Jen Kiggans (R-Virginia Beach) and Missy Cotter Smasal.
The debate is scheduled to take place Oct. 11 at the Susan S. Goode Performing Arts Center in Virginia Beach, starting at 10 a.m.
“It is through events like this that our members can hear directly from the candidates on topics important to them allowing them to make an informed decision at the ballot box,” President and CEO of the Hampton Roads Chamber Bryan Stephens said.
The debate will be open to the public and will be $40 for Chamber members and $60 for prospective members.
