Quit Now Virginia program helps residents quit tobacco, nicotine products

PORTSMOUTH, Va. (WAVY) – During Lung Cancer Awareness Month, held annually during the month of November, health officials are encouraging Virginia residents to join the Quit Now Virginia program.

The program is for those who wish to quit any tobacco or nicotine products — including smokeless tobacco products, e-cigarettes and vapes.


Quit Now Virginia offers multiple ways to help people quit, including one-on-one coaching sessions, online group sessions, a text messaging program and nicotine replacement therapy.
