Virginia Natural Gas pumps $620K into workforce development in Southeast Virginia

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) — Virginia Natural Gas (VNG) has invested $620,000 in workforce development across southeastern Virginia.

In 2023, VNG donated funds to organizations with proven records of innovation in workforce development. The funds were specifically targeted toward young adults, veterans and Historically Black Colleges and Universities in Virginia.


“We understand that workforce development is critical for the success of our region. These investments are intended to help veterans and the next generation of workers develop the technical and professional skills that will lead to great jobs and careers right here in Hampton Roads,” said Robert Duvall, president and CEO of Virginia Natural Gas.
