PORTSMOUTH, Va. (WAVY) — A suspect in a Portsmouth shooting that left one person dead has been arrested and charged.
Portsmouth police said Wednesday officers from its Fugitive Apprehension Unit as well as Chesapeake police took 29-year-old Anthony Allen Worlds into custody.
Worlds is charged in the killing of 33-year-old Elbert Brown Jr. on Oct. 21. Brown was found shot on Wilson Drive, and was pronounced dead at the scene.
