PORTSMOUTH, Va. (WAVY) — Dozens of people shaved their head for a good cause on Saturday. This was the annual Shaving For Heroes event at Roger Brown’s in Downtown Portsmouth. The Saint Baldrick’s Foundation raises money for lifesaving childhood cancer research.
Shaving For Heroes also brings together families impacted by this horrible disease to honor children fighting for their lives and for those who have lost their fight, but never forgotten.
