MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Va. (WFXR) – The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office has announced the arrest of a South Carolina man in connection to a child solicitation investigation from October 20.
On Sunday, October 20, deputies responded to a call regarding a suspicious person trespassing at a home. Responding officers were unable to immediately find anyone at the scene; however, South Carolina resident, Allen Blake Brown was allegedly later found on a road near that location.
During an investigation, it was learned that Brown was allegedly involved in explicit conversations with a juvenile.
Allen Blake Brown from Easley, South Carolina has been arrested and charged with the following:
- Possession of obscene material using minors
- Contributing to the delinquency or abuse of a child
- Obscenity-electronic means for procuring minors for obscene material
- Two counts of child solicitation
- Taking indecent liberties with a child under fifteen
It was later learned by investigators that Brown was previously involved in other similar pending investigations in Virginia, South Carolina, Washington, and Michigan.
Brown is currently being held at the Western Virginia Regional Jail without bond.
