SMITHFIELD, Va. (WAVY) — The national #LipSyncChallenge is still making its way around law enforcement agencies across the Tidewater region, and it’s hit a high note in the Town of Smithfield.
The Smithfield Police Department took to the town’s Main Street and jammed out to “I Wanna Dance With Somebody” by the late Whitney Houston.
The department shared the video on Facebook on Monday afternoon, and about an hour after being posted it already been shared more than 600 times.
At the end of the video, the department challenged the Isle of Wight Sheriff’s Office and the police forces from nearby Windsor and Franklin.
