NORFOLK (WAVY) – The all-time leading rusher in Old Dominion history didn’t hear his name called during the NFL Draft, but he will still get his shot.
Ray Lawry signed with the Cincinnati Bengals as an undrafted free-agent, joining Chesapeake’s Andrew Brown (Oscar Smith High School), who was selected with the 158th overall pick.
Lawry lit up the stat books, rushing for 4,080 career yards and 45 touchdowns as a Monarch.
