Two suspects in custody after homicide in Ahoskie

    • AHOSKIE, N.C. (WAVY) — On Nov. 10, two arrests were made by the Ahoskie Police Department in connection to a homicide investigation, police said.

    On Oct 30, police responded to the 100 block of Snipes Street Ahoskie in reference to a deceased person. Officers found Mark Lane dead, and identified Keyondez Brown and Kayla Boone as suspects.

    The two were arrested more than a week later and placed in Hertford County Detention with no bond. Brown is facing murder charges and Boone faces charges on accessory after the fact, police said.
