CURRITUCK, N.C. (WAVY) – The Currituck County Board of Elections is warning residents about a possible scam regarding voter registration.

According to a release, the Board of Elections was notified that several community members were being asked to complete a “new voter registration form to ensure you have not been removed from the voter registration database.”

Members of the Board of Elections want to remind voters you do not need to complete a new form if you are already a registered voter.
