KILL DEVIL HILLS, N.C. (WAVY) – The 11th annual Outer Banks Halloween Parade is set to return to Kill Devil Hills next Sunday.

The free parade is scheduled to take place on Oct. 27 at Aviation Park. Trick or treating will start at 2 p.m., followed by the short walking parade at 3 p.m. After the parade, there will be a judging ceremony for the ‘Best in Show’ costumes in three categories.

In addition, decorated vehicles and props will be on display for photo opportunities.

The parade, which was founded in 2014, draws hundreds of participants each year, making it the largest Halloween event on the Outer Banks.

After the parade, exclusive highlights, as well as interviews by the three Best in Show winners, will be posted to the Halloween Daily News’ YouTube channel.
