ELIZABETH CITY, N.C. (WAVY) — A fire in Elizabeth City caused some outages in the area on Wednesday, officials said.
The fire occurred at a substation, certain areas experienced power outages.
“Please know that our dedicated linemen and electrical crews are working diligently to assess the situation and restore power as quickly and safely as possible,” Elizabeth City officials said.
