ELIZABETH CITY, N.C. (WAVY) — A homicide investigation is underway in Elizabeth City, according to police.
Just before noon on Monday, Aug 26, Elizabeth City police were called to the area of Oak Grove Avenue for the report of an individual in suspicious condition.
When officers arrived on the scene, they found a man dead inside a vehicle on the 100 block of Oak Grove Avenue.
Police identified the man as 21-year-old Caleb Jeremiah of Elizabeth City.
