YONKERS, New York (WAVY) — Authorities have announced two arrests almost a month to the day after a Portsmouth man’s body was found inside a duffel bag outside a bank near New York City.
Christopher Myrie, 48, and Jonisha Graham, 29, both of Schieffelin Avenue in the Bronx, have been charged with one count each of concealment of a human corpse, a felony under New York state law.
Deshawn Cortez Seaborne’s body had multiple stab wounds when it was found Nov. 19 near a dumpster outside the Wells Fargo bank at 500 Odell Avenue in Yonkers, New York.

According to the New York Daily News, a love triangle could be what led up to this homicide.
Sources with knowledge of the case said Seaborne was romantically involved with Graham. That led to a feud with Myrie.
10 On Your Side reached out to Seaborne’s family and a woman who answered the phone said the family was notified about the arrests, but they didn’t want to comment further.
Police have yet to charge anyone with murder in connection to Seaborne’s death, but they believe he was killed somewhere in the Bronx and there was an apparent failure to conceal the body when it was dumped outside the bank in Yonkers.
The New York City Police Department is leading the investigation into the homicide with the help of the Yonkers Police Department.
Myrie and Graham are set to appear in court on Dec. 21.
