PORTSMOUTH, Va. (WAVY) — Portsmouth police are investigating a fatal motorcycle accident that left a Chesapeake man dead.
Officials say they were notified around 1:53 p.m. Sunday for the two-vehicle accident in the 5800 block of Portsmouth Boulevard.
The motorcyclist that died was identified on Monday as 19-year-old Joshua B. Smith, of Chesapeake.
No other details in the case have been released, but police say the investigation is ongoing.
