PORTSMOUTH, Va. (WAVY) – All across the nation this week, Americans paused to remember those who lost their lives on Sept. 11, 2001.
That horrific day ended in the death of 2,996 people in New York City, Shanksville, Pennsylvania and Washington, D.C. at the Pentagon.
Each month here on WAVY-TV 10, Admiral Daryl Caudle, commander of U.S. Fleet Forces Command will address a different topic important to our military community. This month there’s no topic more important than remembering the lives of those heroes we lost.
