NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — A man who pleaded guilty to charges in connection to a fatal 2018 Norfolk shooting has been sentenced.
Nathaniel L. Williams pleaded guilty to voluntary manslaughter last November in connection to the shooting death of 25-year-old Aaron R. Charles.
Police said Charles was shot to death on Lincoln Street, near Brambleton Avenue, in the overnight hours of Aug. 28. Williams was arrested the next day.
Williams was sentenced to 10 years in prison late last week.
