YORK COUNTY, Va. (WAVY) — A 75-year-old woman is facing charges for assaulting a 6-year-old child with special needs.
According to the sheriff’s office, Cynthia Diana Greasley of Yorktown was working as a bus aide for York County Schools when she dragged the child down the aisle and shoved the child off the bus.
It happened Tuesday afternoon when the bus arrived at Mt. Vernon Elementary School and the children were getting off the bus to go inside the school.
Greasley has been charged with assault and battery. She is no longer employed by the York County School Division.
