PORTSMOUTH, Va. (WAVY) — Police are investigating after a woman was found dead on Thursday in Portsmouth.
Officers found the body in the 2000 block of Pulaski Street near Mt. Calvary Cemetery, after someone reported it to police.
No other details have been released at this time, but police have labeled the case as a death investigation.
Portsmouth police also announced on Friday morning they’re conducting a death investigation after a woman was mauled by three dogs in the city overnight. At this time there’s no indication the cases are related.
