WILLIAMSBURG, Va. (WAVY) – A bus from Williamsburg-James City County Schools was involved in a crash Friday morning.
The school district confirmed there were about 30 James Blair Middle School students on the bus at the time of the crash. Eight of the students reported minor injuries and were evaluated at the scene.
Schools spokesperson Kara Wall told WAVY that “out of an abundance of caution” the students were all transported to Riverside Doctors’ Hospital.
WAVY also reached out to Williamsburg Police Friday morning to confirm when and where the crash happened. As of Friday night, we had not heard back.
