VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) — A recruiting expo is being held this weekend by the Virginia Beach Police Department.
According to a flyer, those interested in applying with the department can speak with officers and see demonstrations for the physical fitness requirements and training.
The recruiting expo will also show how the department engages with the community.
The expo is scheduled for 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, June 8, at the Virginia Beach Law Enforcement Training Academy at 411 Integrity Way.
