Police: 1 dead in Ferrell Pkwy crash, 1 arrested for DUI

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) — A man is dead and a woman is in custody after a fatal crash on Ferrell Parkway, according to the Virginia Beach Police Department (VBPD).

Friday, Aug. 16 just after 9 p.m., police responded to the 5000 block of Ferrell Parkway for a crash involving a motorcycle.


Upon arrival, police learned that two vehicles were involved in the crash. The driver of the motorcycle, Randall Gollihur, 53, was pronounced dead on the scene.

Police said, the driver of the other vehicle, Brittany Harris, 35. was arrested and charged with driving under the influence (first offense) and DUI refusal. 

On Tuesday, VBPD announced that Harris was also charged with DUI Manslaughter.
