VBPD: 15-year-old arrested after person found with gunshot wound following vehicle crash

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) — Virginia Beach Police said a 15-year-old was arrested on Thursday after a person was found with a gunshot wound following a single-vehicle crash Wednesday night.

According to officials, one person was taken to the hospital in serious condition after they were found with a gunshot wound at the intersection of Belspring Drive and Eagle Way. The crash was near the Honey Bee Golf Course.


On Oct. 10, one day after the incident, police arrested a 15-year-old male in connection with the shooting. He was charged with malicious wounding, use of a firearm in commission of a felony, shooting into an occupied vehicle and juvenile in possession of a firearm.
