VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) — Get ready, Hampton Roads.
A new Shake Shack is opening up next week in the heart of Town Center in Virginia Beach.
The restaurant has confirmed the new location will open May 22 at 11 a.m. The restaurant says the first 100 people in line will get a custom Virginia Beach tote bag with Shack swag.
This will be the first Shake Shack in Hampton Roads — and only the fourth location in Virginia. The other three Virginia locations are in the northern part of the Commonwealth.
The restaurant, which started as a hot dog cart in Manhattan, now serves burgers, shakes, beer and wine at numerous other locations across the country.
