Former Arrowhead Elementary employee sentenced for possessing, sharing child porn

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) — A former Arrowhead Elementary School staff member received a 20-year prison sentence for possessing and sharing child pornography.

On Tuesday, David Bruce Crouse Jr., 57, was sentenced for charges of possession of child pornography and subsequent charges including reproduce, transmit and sell of child pornography.

Circuit Court Judge Tanya Bullock sentenced Crouse to 70 years in prison with 50 years suspended.

According to the Commonwealth’s Attorney, over 10,000 files of child pornography were
shared from Crouse’s former residence in Virginia Beach.

The former instructional technology specialist was arrested at Arrowhead Elementary School where he worked.

According to the Commonwealth’s Attorney’s office, Crouse admitted in an interview with police that he was responsible for sharing all of the child pornography coming from his residence.
