VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) — A fatal motorcycle crash closed Princess Anne Road in both directions Tuesday night.
Police said they received an emergency call reporting a single-vehicle motorcycle crash around 6 p.m. in the 1500 block of Princess Anne Road.
Officers found a man associated with the crash when they arrived. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
On Wednesday morning, police identified the victim as Mitchell Abrams, 22, of Virginia Beach.

Officers say they belive excessive speed was a contributing factor.
The incident is still under investigation by the VBPD Fatal Crash Team.
