2 displaced after VB house fire, cause under investigation

    • VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) — Two people are displaced after a house fire in Virginia Beach.

    Just before 11 p.m. Sunday, crews were called to the 1300 block of Mozart Drive for the report of a house fire.


    When firefighters arrived on the scene, they found heavy smoke and flames showing from the back of the house.

    Officials said the two adults were able to make it out of the home. The fire was marked under control around 11:09 p.m. No one was hurt.

    The cause of the fire is under investigation, but officials believe it started outside near the trash receptacles.
