VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) — The Violent Femmes just announced they are coming to the Sandler Center.

At 8 p.m. Friday, Sept. 20, watch the Grammy-nominated punk rock band perform a special two-album show.

The band said the show will celebrate 40 years of their album “Hallowed Ground,” and they will also perform their debut album.

The show does not have an opener, so they encourage guests to be there on time.

The band is known for songs like “Blister in the Sun,” “Kiss Off,” “Gone Daddy Gone” and more.

The show is one stop on their upcoming national tour that kicks off July 25 in Seattle, Washington. The band’s tour takes them across the United States, coast-to-coast. According to the schedule, it will wrap up in October with a performance in Nashville, Tennessee.

Tickets go on sale for the performance at 10 a.m. Friday. Find out more information for tickets and the upcoming tour dates at VFemmes.com.
