NEWPORT NEWS, Va. (WAVY) — An arrest has been made in connection to a homicide that occurred in November in Carrollton, deputies said.
The suspect, 23-year-old Travis Wilson, was arrested in Newport News by the U.S. Marshals Service and turned over to the Isle of Wight County Sheriff’s office. He is facing charges of second-degree murder, use of a firearm in the commission of a felony, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and malicious shooting.

The shooting occurred back on Nov. 2 when deputies responded to a call in the 12000 block of Smiths Neck Road where there found 39-year-old Marvin Guillaume-Sam suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He later died.
The victim’s body was found in the back seat of a dark green Honda with his clothes left on the side of Bubble gum Lane.
Wilson was considered to be armed and dangerous. Both suspect and victim were from New York.
