NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — Norfolk police say two teens last seen Wednesday afternoon at Lake Taylor High School reported back home safe on Thursday.
However, 14-year-old Sincerity Ennel was listed as a runaway on Friday by police, who don’t believe she’s in danger. Her mother told police she last saw Sincerity at 2 a.m. on Friday and discovered she was gone at 6 a.m. She said Sincerity had packed some belongings before leaving the house.
Police have issued a “be on the lookout” notice.
Both Ennels and 15-year-old Emily Morrison were originally reported missing on Wednesday, after police said they hadn’t been seen since 2 p.m. Wednesday on the way home from school.
A 19-year-old man has been arrested in the case after he allegedly made a hoax call Thursday night demanding a ransom for the return of one of the girls, police said.
