SUFFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — Around 5:05 p.m., emergency response teams were dispatched to a report for a commercial vehicle fire on Route 17 in Suffolk, officials said.
Crews arrived and found a tractor-trailer was not on fire, but instead had folded in the middle. The roadway was shutdown in both directions. No injuries were reported, and no hazards were associated with the trailer’s contents.
