Police: Woman killed after losing control of motorcycle in Suffolk

SUFFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — Suffolk police are investigating a fatal motorcycle crash that left a woman dead on Saturday evening, police said.

The call came in around 7:30 p.m. Suffolk police responded to the 6400 block of College Drive for an auto accident.


Officers found a woman, later identified as 28-year-old Ashlyn Baker, had lost control of her motorcycle. Baker was transported to a local hospital where she later died.

The incident is under investigaiton.
